It’s with a heavy heart that we share the news of the unexpected passing of retired Police Service Dog Max.
Max was a valued member of the Saanich Police Canine Program, having formed a successful partnership and strong bond with his handler Sgt. Steve Eassie.
In retirement Max enjoyed a loving family life with the Eassie family.
He passed away peacefully on November 2nd, one month shy of his 11th birthday.
